SUNDAYS AT HVBC

Our Sunday Service is a chance for people to connect with God and one another, wherever they find themselves on the faith journey. We’re a “come as you are” church - so dress casually and participate in whatever ways you’re comfortable with…

The service starts at 9:30am, but arrive a little early if you have kids so you can check them in at the kiosk for Sunday School.

You’ll experience some music, prayer, encouragement and teaching - all of which is about making Jesus the focus and receiving what He has for us. At times we might also share the Lord’s Supper (communion) or celebrate people being water baptised.

The children of the church join us for the first half of the service, and then go to Sunday School for the second half.

A typical Sunday service runs for just over one-hour.

We have onsite parking and are disability-friendly. There’s also a creche for parents with babies and toddlers.

We have two age-appropriate Sunday School programs. One for age 3+; and another for kids in grades 2-6. All our Sunday School staff and volunteers are Safe Church trained and approved to work with children.

The hour after the service is just as important to us as the hour of the service.

We enjoy morning tea together which gives us an opportunity to strengthen our relationships, encourage one another, and help newcomers connect more personally into the life and community of the church. Plan to stick around, and there’s plenty of food for the kids to enjoy and space for them to play.

We would love to have you come along this Sunday 9:30am, at 26 Terrace Rd, North Richmond.
