One of our core values as a church is “faith as community” - so there are multiples ways for you to connect, grow and serve here.
LIFE GROUPS
These are small, midweek groups meeting together to pray, share life, eat, study the Bible and provide care + encouragement to one another. We believe every person needs a Life Group because this is where we find a depth of community that both larger groups or personal isolation are unable to create.
We have Life Groups that cater for men, women, couples and families, and young adults. We also have specific interest or course-based Life Groups from time to time.
HVBC KIDS - Kids up to Year 6 at School
We are a church committed to championing generations. At our Sunday services we have 2 programs for kids up to year 6 at school:
Junior Kids for kids aged 3-7
Senior Kids for kids in years 2-6 at school
In addition to this we have a hosted creche for parents with kids under 3.
LAUNCHPAD - Kids in School Years 3-6
LAUNCHPAD is our Friday evening program for students in years 3-6 at school. It runs fortnightly during school terms from 6:00-7:30pm. At LAUNCHPAD the kids play games, eat dinner, and learn more about Jesus and the life He is launching them into.
RPM YOUTH - High School Students
RPM Youth runs fortnightly on Friday nights during school terms between 6:30-8:30pm. It’s all about supporting and encouraging young people through high school, and pointing them towards a strong faith in Jesus as they make choices to navigate the adventure of life.
Our high schoolers also have the opportunity to participate in an annual youth camp which a growing number of local churches participate in together.
PLAYTIME - Families with Babies and Toddlers
Playtime runs 9:30-11:00am on Thursdays during school terms. There’s play equipment, story time, craft and some morning tea to help keep young families connected and encouraged as they see their kids grow and learn.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
HVBC has a vibrant team of people involved in Operation Christmas Child. Activities involve packing days, fundraising events, and volunteering at the local OCC Processing Centre.
MINISTRY TEAMS
There’s a place to become involved and serve at HVBC for everybody. Our ministry teams include hospitality, facilities, pastoral care, praise and worship, next generations, administration, operations, special events and tech.
HAWKESBURY VALLEY CAROLS
Every year we run Hawkesbury Valley Carols (formerly Hanna Park Carols) as a gift of love to our local community. 1000’s attend what has become the Hawkesbury’s premier Christmas community event. Click here for more information about this incredible annual event.
