Safe church

Hawkesbury Valley Baptist Church is committed to modelling the love of Christ by promoting physical, emotional and spiritual safety in all that we do. As part of this commitment, our church is participating in the Safe Church Health Check developed by the Baptist Association of NSW & ACT.

The Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse recommended 10 Child Safe Standards. The Safe Church Health Check is a comprehensive tool which is designed to ensure churches meet the 10 Child Safe Standards and any existing legal obligations.

Child protection concerns

If you have any complaint or information about any form of child protection concern, please contact 0420 828 513 and ask to speak to a member of our Safe Church Team.  

If there is any immediate danger to a child, please contact the Police on 000.
